Coco Chanel once said, "Apply your fragrance in areas where you would like to be kissed."
I totally agree with this but remember perfume doesn't taste good, so I highly doubt if she meant it literally!! Oh well! A lady should always smell well. That is what distinguishes us from men, well apart from the physiques, but i mean, a lady who smells expensive is a major turn on!! Can I hear a hallelujah!!
I know most of us have these expensive, sweet smelling perfumes that we just apply in all the wrong places and yet complain that spray za siku hizi hua hazilast! eeeerrrmm! WRONG ANSWER! It is the places we spritz that determine the longevity of which brand we are wearing.
Worry not, I am here to highlight the body areas that we should adopt to spritzing if we want that all day amazing fragrance.
But before applying perfume, oil your body well with vaseline (it has an occlusive feature) or body lotion since perfume tends to last longer with a moisturized skin compared to a dry one.
For an all day fragrance, wear your perfume on the following areas;
Behind ear lobes - This area has a pulse point, meaning that the vessels are nearer to the skin and it is here where the body is warmer to enhance the fragrance. Or wear at the top of the ears - the skin here does not dry out.
Inside Elbows - Applying perfume obscures the smell in the bends of the arms hence perfect for that long wear.
Belly Button - Put little drops on the fingers and apply in the belly button since the smell stays with you wherever in the body that you heat up.
Collar bone & Decolletage - ie the neck, shoulders and back. The dips in the bone structure makes perfume settle there, just like how bra straps do. They carry the fragrance for a longer lasting effect.
Other surprising areas are the Ankles & behind the knees. I am yet to try the two areas, but they will definitely work.
Feel free to comment on any more hacks that you know of and help save a life hihihi.
Once again. as always, Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers!

Very insightful, also choice of fragrance matters. There is a difference between Perfume,
ReplyDeleteEau DE Perfume, Eau DE Cologne, Eau DE Toilette.Perfume lasts longest and are the most expensive
This is a plus! Thanks dear for the tip.
